PVF : A polymer compound formed by the interaction of polyvinyl alcohol and formaldehyde. Slight grass yellow solid.
Has thermoplastic properties. Density 1.2. The softening point is about 190 ℃. Thermal deformation temperature is 65-75 ℃. The water absorption rate is about 1%. Dissolve in acetone, chlorinated hydrocarbons, acetic acid, and phenols.
It is mainly used to manufacture adhesive between abrasion resistant high strength enamelled wire coating and metal, wood, rubber, glass laminated plastic, as the middle layer of laminated plastic, and to manufacture foam plastic with high impact strength and large compression elastic modulus.
1.In industry: it is mainly used for manufacturing vinylon fibers. Besides, it can also be used as a foaming agent, grinding material, adhesive, and electrical insulation material, etc.
