CDEA is a non-ionic surfactant without a cloud point. It is highly soluble in water and can be compatible with various surfactants. It has the properties of foaming, maintaining foam, penetrating cleaning and anti-hard water. Especially in acidic environments of anionic surfactants, its thickening effect is remarkable.
It is mainly used as an additive in shampoos and liquid detergents, a foam stabilizer and foaming agent. It can form a mist-like solution in water solutions.
